We as Americans fail to notice sometimes the amount of junk like foods we put in our mouths to be digested. Our favorite restaurants like "Mickey d's","taco bell" or "Wendy’s" are what’s a huge factor in our countries rising diabetes and obesity rates. Not to mention that allot of the foods at these places aren’t even made of real meat products .The amount of calories in one hamburger from McDonalds is equivalent to a chicken ceaser salad with ceaser dressing from the same establishment(McDonalds).That same salad has more calories than double quarter pounder if you add croutons and a drink.
We enter these places thinking that a salad would be the best choice but in reality it’s just as bd. The best way to get a healthy choice to make the foods at home with things from the supermarket. Taco bell uses grade d meat because of the amount of meat they have to use to keep their establishment running. The safest and cheaper thing to do would be to use your money on store bought items and cook them at home. In the end it may cost a little but more but its worth your health.
